Professional coffee tasting with afterwork and DJ
Every Wednesday we invite you to a cupping session in our new pop-up: "Maldaner X Pauls" in Mainz to taste different coffees together with you. We taste and discuss together about new beans, growing regions, varieties, processing methods and different types of roasting. You will gain lots of new insights into the world of coffee roasting and can ask us all your questions. Afterwards we invite you to end the evening with us with relaxed beats and delicious drinks.
How the cupping works
Smell, slurp, taste. The professional tasting of different coffees is called cupping. Cupping is the most important tool for us as roasters to keep an eye on and constantly monitor the quality of our beans. If new beans find their way into our roastery, we decide at the cupping table which beans will make it into our range and which type of coffee is suitable for preparation.

Number of participants: max. 12 people
Duration: approx. 1 hour from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m
