Your espresso tastes bitter and is way too strong? Sometimes it tastes sour, then watery and unbalanced again? Would you like to emphasize the sweet fruit notes more or give your espresso more body? In our “Espresso Extraction” workshop you will learn everything you need to get the best out of the beans
From the right degree of grinding, amount of water and coffee, extraction and brewing ratio, here you will learn to understand everything that influences the taste of your espresso. This is where it quickly gets practical, because all participants brew themselves: In practical application, you get to know the various variables and how they affect your espresso. For example, we taste differences between under- and over-extraction and show you how to recognize them using sensors. This is how you learn how to get the best out of your espresso.
You can expect a family atmosphere, backyard roastery flair and a lot of insider knowledge - let yourself be enchanted by the art of coffee making and try out our equipment yourself. If you want to bring your own equipment, please let us know in advance.
