Directly traded cocoa beans from the Asomucasi women's cooperative

Specialty coffee and cocoa have a lot in common. Not only in terms of their diverse taste - because unfortunately the cocoa bean trade is also characterized by opacity, dependency and slavery, and sometimes even more so than in the coffee trade. This cocoa is different. Because it not only tastes irresistible, creamy delicious. This cocoa is 100% free from slavery and transparently traceable: back to the 23 small farmers of the Asomucasi cooperative who grow the cocoa trees in Simacota in northern Colombia. From the cocoa beans that have matured for months, they produce this unique cocoa powder, which you can use for your drinking chocolate, for baking and for refining.

Our recipe for your creamy cocoa drink

Fine flavor cocoa powder of the Crillo and Trinitario varieties

Dissolve 2 teaspoons of cocoa powder in some hot water. As soon as the powder has completely dissolved, fill the cup with approx. 200 ml of warm, frothed (oat) milk. Your hot chocolate is ready.

PS: it also tastes heavenly on ice. You don't need to froth the milk for this. - Try it.
